My name is Richard van Tol, 28, live in Holland (Amsterdam), part of SoundSupport-team which developed Drive a couple of years ago. I work together with Sander Huiberts researching and developing audio games (yep I know you haven't seen much yet but stuff is hopefully coming out this year :), while also doing a PhD at the University of Portsmouth on Game Audio. I work part time at the Accessibility Foundation here in Holland and am interested in sound, games and 'special needs' (and any combination like "sound and games = game audio", "games and special needs = game accessibility", etc.) . Together with Sander we run the probably familiar
http://www.AudioGames.net website, as well as a few other websites (
http://www.SoundSupport.net,
http://www.GameAudioDesign.com,
http://www.FashionJockeys.com (R),
http://www.Ebass.nl (S),
http://www.Kozcollective.nl (S), several (research) WIKI's). Sander and I are also tutor Game Audio in the Game Design course over at the HKU, here in Holland.
I'm mostly interested in design issues concerning audio games and accessible games.
